     Robotics Camp (Level 1)

Ages: 8-10 years

May 7th 2018 – May 11th 2018

(Monday to Friday)

10:30 am to 12:00 pm daily

Camp Fee: Rs 4,500/-

Students will be exposed to Robotic kits, fundamentals of sensors, actuators and need to build robots to solve simple, intermediate and then complex tasks.

The kits used for the Robotics course are by a leading German robotics company –  Fischertechnik
Students who have done robotics in previous years, will be challenged with more advanced projects.

Learning Outcomes are:

  • Understanding the science and physics behind robotics, sensors, motion.
  • Enabling students to develop confidence to build robots to complete a task
  • Understand Algorithms & flowcharts
  • Ability to work in teams
  • Time and project management
  • Thinking on your feet under time pressure

Robotics Camp (Level 2)CG Bot - Robot, STEM,

Ages: 11-14 years

14th May 2018 to 24th May 2018

(Sunday – 20th May is a holiday)

10:30 am to 12:30 pm 

Camp Fee: Rs 8,000/-

Students will be exposed to making more advanced types of robots using Arudino Programming.

It must be noted that such a robot is very similar to what first year engineering students learn at some reputed foreign and Indian universities -however your child will be making a simpler version of it.

Learning Outcomes:- 

  • Critical thinking and algorithmic skills
  • Use ESP/Arduino: This chip is the brain of the robot. It will be used as a controller for the robot. Students will learn how to program this chip. The learnings from programming this chip can be applied to Arduino programming as well.
  • Algorithms: This is the heart of the robot. Mastering algorithms becomes even more important to debug and achieve a goal.
  • Use Blockly and analysis of code: This tool will help your children to write code in a block form similar to Scratch programming. This tool will strengthen their coding skills.
  • Use electronic equipment widely available in stores: Students will be using equipment that is readily available at most of the local shops (on Lamington Road). Hence, they can potentially build similar robots by themselves in the future as well
  • Build a sense and avoid robot/Line Following Robot: This is the main goal of the course. By the end of the course students will understand everything that goes into a Line following robot

STEAM CampSTEM Project

Ages: 10-14 years

14th May 2018 to 18th May 2018

1:30 pm to 3:30 pm

Camp Fee: Rs 4,000/-

Learn to Innovate with Fun STEAM Projects

Each day there is one or more activity related to fun learning of science or math or making concepts. Participants will work individually or in a team, depending on the specific activity of the day.
Examples of STEAM activities include:-
– 3D Doodling
– 3D Printing
– Magnetic Levitation
– Design & Critical Thinking Activities, etc

Python Programming Camp

Ages: 13-17 years

21st May 2018 to 25th May 2018
(Monday to Friday)
11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Camp Fee: Rs 6,000/-

Learn Python – The programming language of choice in the 21st century

Students will be exposed to hands on computer programming in Python and Connected Hardware Devices

The course would cover:-

  • Introduction to the concept of algorithms and flow, programming basics & languages
  • Write a basic program in Python
  • Programming constructs in Python
  • Prime Numbers
  • Project Work

STEAM Camp

Ages: 10-14 years

11th June 2018 to 15th June 2018
